Location really close to the centre of town, and Croagh Patrick in background. Also, to Westport👍😃

It was spotless and appealing place, reasonably large rooms. Booked a room with fantastic views of the mountain. The breakfast was savoury and there was a wide array of appetising food. The location was quiet in a quiet area, close enough to Westport and Lurgan House.

I stayed at this B&B with my family for a weekend getaway, and we couldn't fault it at all. From the moment we arrived, Ena, the host, was incredibly kind and accommodating. She allowed us to check in early and cooked us a delicious breakfast the next morning. The house was spotless and homely, with comfortable beds and a beautiful garden. We enjoyed the view of Croagh Patrick from our room and loved the convenient walking routes. a brilliant stay thanks to Ena and the amazing hospitality.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The decoration at Lurgan House was absolutely lovely, with a cozy and traditional feel. The lobby fireplace was a delightful touch, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The reception hall was spacious, making it easy for us seniors to navigate the area. It was wonderful to relax by the fire and enjoy the beautiful views of Clew Bay, Clare Island, and Achill Island. The hotel was very accessible for senior people like myself, which made our stay comfortable and convenient.
The only improvement I would suggest for a better vacation for senior people is for the children working there to offer more assistance with luggage. A bit more help with carrying bags to and from the rooms would have been greatly appreciated.

During my recent stay at a lovely B&B just outside of town, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm and welcoming atmosphere at Lurgan House. The owners treated me like family, making me feel right at home. The room I stayed in was beautifully furnished and had its own ensuite, providing a comfortable and relaxing space. I particularly enjoyed the evenings by the fireplace, which Ena and her husband kindly lit for me after a long day of hiking. The location was also peaceful, allowing for a restful night's sleep. Despite being a bit of a walk from town, the hospitality and overall experience at Lurgan House made it a standout choice for my stay. I highly recommend this B&B for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
